@Theycallmedan is once again organizing an amazing contest for the Steem community and as always I've seen the contest post so late I barely have time to share my entry lol!
Anyway here goes.

My Early Steps on Steem

I joined Steem 25 moons ago and lucky me there were already a couple of skaters actively posting skate-related content. They showed me their support and love the moment I shared my first post and that's the reason I am writing about the beginning of my Steem journey, because these are the people I want to talk to you about.

If you've been on Steem for some time now, you probably have heard that name before. Stix is a 40 year old skater from South Africa currently living in London and besides skating he is also a great musician! He was one of the first people I met on chain and his support was/is immense. He is always supporting me and every #steemskate post with his vote, commenting on people's posts and organizing fun skate-related challenges for all us steemskaters.
His latest challenge called #40poundtricks has already been running for over 3 months and every round is more awesome than the previous one. He is also promoting our skateboarding community on other social media and if I was gonna give him a #Steemskate title, I would name him "Steemskate General"! Hehehe.

Stix is overall a great guy who I've met in real-life (we skated Barcelona for 3 days last year) and his posts are food for thought for every Steemian out there.

@Nicolcron

Same story with Stix, @Nicolcron was one of the first people who I met on chain and has been supporting me since day one! @Nicolcron ( or Mark) is a Life Long Skateboarder riding for "Death Skateboards" and one of the best vloggers (in my humble opinion) on Steem. His English accent along with his awesome sense of humor combined with his super creative editing skills makes every single one of his posts a must-watch. I haven't yet missed a single posts from Mark and I don't plan missing one in the future. He always comes up with something new and creative to share with the whole Steem community.
Like his latest post called "How to Make Stripey T-shirt with BLEACH - Cool DIY Tie Bleach Tie Dye Summer Style shirts".
Super-awesome stuff.

@Davixesk8

@Davixesk8 joined our skateboarding community (@steemskate) last year and I got to give it to him. He is the most active Steemskater ever. He is constantly uploading new videos at his Dtube channel promoting our community and pushing himself to learn new tricks and improve his editing game. Coming from Venezuela, @Davixesk8 (or David) is pure motivation. If you know what's going on in his country, then you can pretty much guess that skating is not that easy over there. A board costs $40 and people's monthly salary doesn't even exceed $40. Crazy right? But somehow David always stays motivated and delivers fresh skateboarding footage. Much respect to you bro for real.

I could talk for a ton of authors but writing is not my forte so I'll just name a few more people bellow. Most of them have already established a name for themselves on chain but if this is the first time hearing their names make sure you check out their channels.

Most of youhave probably heard that name before. @Streetstyle is the man behind SPUD( Steem Power Up Day) and if you take a look at his comments and votes, he is always nice to people and supporting people who really need support, both financial and emotional.
One love bro, you are the "ideal" Steemian in my opinion.

Well, what can I say about Ash? Probably the best videographer on Steem right now and I am sure most of you have already been following his work. If you haven't GOD DAMN, go check out his channel!
