One of the main questions beginner stocks, options, futures traders face is which online brokerage/platform to use. Among things to consider usually are a minimum required balance, commissions fees, and trading tools the brokerage/platform provides.
I recently came across Tastyworks. Having used Etrade, Thinkorswim, Robinhood, Optionshouse in the past, I find Tastyworks quite interesting and will be trying it out soon.
What I like about Tastyworks is it is smaller accounts friendly, stock options focused, offers competitive commission fees and provides options focused trading tools. To my understanding, it doesn't require a minimum balance to maintain, and options trades are settled the same day.
It has mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, desktop apps for Mac, Linux, or Windows machines, and a browser-based app.

I do miss the days with screens filled with those kinds of charts! Back in the day I use to use FXCM. Currency trading with insane leverage, naked short selling, and wake up at 3am due to massive margin calls losing my shirt! Regulation killed all the fun.
Thinkorswim was another one I played around with a bit for back testing if I recall. At one point I wanted to get into options trading. Just did not have the sprit in me left to try and pick up getting back into that kind of life.
I do love the layout Tastyworks is using. Got to love dark theme when you have a bunch of screens loaded up at 5am getting ready for the day ahead.
Never tried futures trading, always seemed too risky. I would never trade on margin either. :) Margin calls can end it all.
I love thinkorswim, they have the best tools for free. I use it even if I trade somewhere else.
Options trading is super interesting to me. That is what I am planing to so with tastyworks.
Dear @geekgril you found that important and useful product, because of this platform you can trade in all over the world. You strat trading at the o level and reach out to the top with the help of this platform. It's easier to use in android devices and ios and also all operating system in computers. I've given up stocks in favor of going 100% crypto. One of the worst things about stocks and options is that they are not very friendly towards smaller accounts. The fees can really diminish the investment gains when you sell. Compared to TD Ameritrade, Tastyworks looks like something heaven sent. There is a great deal of money to be saved with Tastyworks.
I don't plan to get back into traditional stuff in recent times. But kept the website saved just in case. Great Hunt!
All good, what's with the name though.. sounds like food delivery company.
There are many types of software applications among us, and we have a lot of help from them and a lot of the great software you have shared with us today. This web site will definitely have a lot of backgrounds.
