Steemfest House Music Club Options

Seems Steemfest is hitting the streets of Bangkok

Not sure I am jealous about all the guys attending Steemfest 4 or not - however as a music and party addict I would like to use the Wednesdayhouse opportunity to show some clubs you might wanna visit there - no pressure @louis88 @detlev @lizanomadsoul @anomadsoul @roelandp - you know you have to be careful (especially my male buddiess) not to end up after a 2 day party waking up in a situation where the person next is of a gender you can not be sure of :-). Some people might think I just wanna hijack the Steemfest tag lol - well maybe, maybe not. I am still glad to see so many new communities or front ends with their own tokens starting on the Steem Blockchain - I still miss my favourite music. I would give my full support to anyone handling and creating any electronic music token. In the past I did some bounty community stuff but more focusing on this electronic music. We rewarded hundreds of Steemians for their engagement - I might start some soon again within a different format.

Below the tags (you will find two new ones) we usually cover with a bounty music engagement Dance bounty. Thanks to @andyjaypowell for creating Wednesday House.

The more engagement THIS post gets, the more contests or higher bounties will come soon! We will handle weekly contests around the tags below starting soon!

Tip of the Day: Glow Nightclub

But back to Bangkok Party recommendations - I have to say - not been there but research shows some clubs that might not be that dangerous - First one is Glow which is considered to be one of the best clubs of Thailand, capacity of 250 people, two dance floors, music policy is generally geared towards house and techno. Toni Varga from Spain playing on Saturday by the way:

Glow is Bangkok’s beloved underground music mainstay. It opened in 2005 and held the title as Bangkok’s only underground music club for many years and is still the beating heart of the city’s electronic music scene. On any given Friday or Saturday night, and if you’re lucky maybe even the occasional weeknight, you’ll can expect to hear rolling techno or tech house, but some crackin house music nights happen from time to time. Don’t be afraid of showing up here randomly on a weekend, something will likely be happening and the dance floor will be positively glowing with a vibe not present anywhere else in the city. The crowd is majority expat and akin to the people you would find at your favorite cavernous clubs at home. It’s dark, loud, you can smoke inside, and you’ll definitely find some cool humans to form an after party alliance with. It’s also one of the only clubs in Bangkok that does big international bookings. The club has hosted artists like Sasha, Seth Troxler, Goldie, Wolf & Lamb and Darren Emerson.

DJ of the Day from Bangkok - Celeste Siam

A lady - a DJ that plays international and seems to be very popular in Thailand - she played already in one of my favourite clubs of the world: Space in Ibiza! Take a look and check her tour dates so maybe you can enjoy, maybe she plays at Steemfest? I do not know - but she is not too bad I think!

Celeste Siam is no stranger to the international dance music scene, although from Thailand, as a DJ and artist she made an early impact on the European scene, spending her summers in Ibiza playing at many of the iconic parties alongside established international stars, where in a short period of time, she has played alongside Carl Cox in Space, secured a Pukka Up residency and made her debut in both Pacha and Amnesia. It was an apprenticeship that gave her an early indication of the importance in immersing yourself in the scene to get the very best out of it.
