Epic post, @karrpediem! What great memories you have to keep with you long into the future. I’m glad you found a replace the for your flip flops! Little adventures in the big adventure help add to the storytelling. And @roelandp served you pancakes? How cool is that?
The uncertainty you had before going is normal. Any big experience is like that — especially if you include travel and people you don’t know. But Steemfest ricks it because you do get to know people, and you realize we are all part of one big village. Glad you had a wonderful time! I’m going to aim to go again next year.
