In my never-ending quest to find new and different comics for the weekly #SteemComic, I came across Ziggy Marley's MARIJUANAMAN, and decided this would be a perfect one for ReggaeSteem.io and WeedCash.Network. Due to all the Steem drama going on lately I am posting this a little later than normal, and for that I apologize.

Give thanks @canna-curate. Highly doubt it, not even sure he writes his own songs to be honest. But I better zip my mouth when it comes to the Marley bwoys, don't want to start a ruckus. I have some specific posts in mind for this community, just gotta get around to to it. I like what you are all doing here, and mostly devote my efforts to ReggaeSteem and NaturalMedicine, but definitely adding WeedCash.Network to the list.

Out of all of Bobβs children, Ziggy is my favorite musician
There's no doubt he is a talented musician. Internationally they are beloved, but within Jamaica the Marley sons are very controversial. Many accuse them of becoming ruthless capitalists, abandoning Rastafari values for the corporate side of things, putting the Marley name on everything from rolling papers to soft drinks.
Also, there was and still is a big spat between the Marley boys and Eek-A-Mouse, with Eek accusing the Marley boys of not paying him for his contribution to a track that became a hit for the Marleys. Here is a clip I found on YouTube of Eek-A-Mouse telling his side of the story. I think the biggest problem he has is with Junior Gong.
Oh damn! I have to be honest I am clueless when it comes to personal life. I do have to say I am very appalled on what the Marley estate has done with Bobs name. So I can see exactly what your saying.

Thanks @papilloncharity. I'm no comic expert either, never even read one as a child. However, I stumbled on this idea while teaching English in Cambodia, and my students loved it. It gives me great joy to rebirth this idea on the Steem blockchain.
Hahaha, we are the same, as I think that I might have read one or maybe two of someone's discarded comics. But if it works for you in teaching, then it is indeed an excellent idea. I think you know that my wife and I are both qualified TEFL teachers, but we stopped teaching a few years ago in order to manage the charity.

So interesting you are former ESL teachers. I never know if I am a former ESL teacher or not. If I do it for more than a year I get burnt out. After a year of not teaching ESL, I always miss it, strange. Nowadays I'm surviving from online Cambodian language lessons. It's not as competitive as the ESL world, but there are also not that many folks looking to learn to speak Khmer.

Seeing the Marley talk below, now. All I can say is I wanna try Bob's branded weed LOL. Man they really capitalize in his name, cannot blame the family though, what better to do. I watched th Eeka mouse video some time ago, music can be like that, always some mix up, especially in Jamaica.
