Have you ever been in a situation where you are completely “clueless” and you don’t know what to do?

Everyone gets to this point at one time or the other. The fact that you don’t seem to know what to do concerning a particular situation in your life does not make you a sinner, neither does it mean you don’t have faith. The truth remains that you may not know what to do; but God knows what to do.

He is God over your head and He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Whenever you feel stranded and you don’t know what to do; it is not for you to complain, it is not for you to grumble. In the light for our Scripture text, it is time to look up to God; because He knows what to do. The Bible says in Psalms 34:5,

“They looked unto Him, and were lightened and their faces were not ashamed.”

In John 6:5-6,

“when Jesus then lifted up His eyes, and saw a great company come unto Him, He saith unto Philip, whence shall we buy bread that these may eat? and this He said to prove him: for He Himself knew what to do”.

This is our consolation that God knows exactly what to do, even when we don’t seem to have any idea whatsoever of what to do. He sees the end from the beginning. In whatsoever situation you find yourself, it may be true you don’t know what to do, but, He knows what to do.

The truth is that God saw that point you are in now, ever before you got there and He has gone ahead to make a way where there is no way. The Bible tells you what to do, hear this:

“trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path” Proverbs 3:5-6.

The Lord will not leave you “clueless”. If you will learn to stay inclined unto Him, you will be lighted up from within. The spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord and with it, the Lord lightens up the lives of men. The Holy Spirit of God indwells your regenerated human spirit and if you will learn to stay open to God, not seeking to have your own way, you will be lightened up to know what to do.
