ARE ALL THE ODDS APPARENTLY WORKING AGAINST YOU?

One thing the noise of battle does is to make obscure the song of victory far from sight and it makes it look unattainable. At such times, you find it difficult to look beyond your ailing situation. All you see is the hopelessness of your situation and all the odds working against you.

With all the enemy makes you see; all you have then becomes self pity and rejection. No matter how noisy it becomes, no matter the rage of the enemy; there is one thing the devil cannot contest and that is the truth that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

This day you may be hearing the noise of battle, but the next is the victor’s song. Just as the darkness of the night cannot prevent the dawn of a new day, so the enemy cannot prevent the turn around the Lord brings into your situation.

It is lie of the devil that you will not break through that awful situation, with the song of victory. Even when men seem to have given up on you; be encouraged because God has not given up on you. He is the God over your head and your help comes from Him. Even when there seems to be nothing uplifting happening around you, stay mindful of this truth that your help is not coming from around you, it is coming from above. The Psalmist in a very profound way proclaimed –

“many there be which say of my soul, there is no help for him in God, but Thou O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter up of my head” Psalm 3:2-3.

There is no satanic noise that cannot be diffused, no matter the origin and no matter how it comes. You serve the God of all flesh and there is nothing too hard for Him. No matter the level of noise; be rest assured that the devil is simply a noise maker. He is expert in noise making. There is always the other side of victory and one thing you will have to do is to learn to stay calm by catching a glimpse of the other side.

This day may be the noise of battle, the next is sure to be a song of victory. Catch a glimpse of victory and refuse to focus on the awfulness of your situation. Abraham against hope believed in hope. He simply refused to focus on the nothingness of the situation. He chose to maintain focus on his expected change. It is a choice which you will have to make.
