DOMINION

Hello my beautiful family members. Hope you all are doing awesomely well today. Last time, we talked about the creation of land animals and also the creation on man in God's own image. Guess what? Well we will be bringing Genesis chapter 1 to a close today as we end it with the last verses 28 through 31 which says;

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Well after the creation of man and animals, God didn't just have it in mind to have just one man on earth and that was why He blessed man to be fruitful, multiply and have dominion. Well fruitfulness to me here doesn't just mean reproduction, it means doing great and wonderful things through the ability that God has bestowed in man. He also gave man power over all the animals. Biology describes man as a higher animal, well even if, so be it because God Himself gave the dominion over other animals.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Apart from the dominion over animals, He also gave man dominion over the trees, fruits, seeds, herbs and so on. If God didn't love man so much, He wouldn't have done so much for man. The love He has made him declare everything He created to be in man's capacity and to take good care of all expecting that man wouldn't disappoint.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God created everything we are seeing today in six solid days and everything He made was good. After creation, God rested. We will continue with Chapter 2 next time. Stay glued.
