Did God Made A Mistake of Not Allowing Moses To See Canaan?

Hello Beloved, we know our God is faithful and He honour any Promises He makes. For my opinion, God does not make mistakes, but he has the reason of doing everything. He doesn't abuses his principles or rules.

Moses was given an order from God to escape from the hands of their enemies, at crucial moment, to stretch the stick the sea to create a way for them to see the Canaan, the promised land. But, Moses interchanged this instruction by God. He hit the stick with the sea instead of just stretching it on the sea. To punish, Moses on this, God said, for your eyes will see Canaan, but your feet will not step there. God punished him because the conditions or state of the Israelites were very critical, which should not be used as jokes. Multitudes of people's lives were at risks which should not be delayed time on it. The Egyptians were seriously chasing them to conquer, so God was pressurised every minute to deliver them.

"Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance; you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”(Deuteronomy 32:52NIV)

For my opinion, the Israelites were having much hope in Moses, which could have resulted the people to have more faith in Him than God Almighty, in case Moses has been allowed to step Canaan. They would have consider Moses as their Hero for showing them the promised (Canaan). Look at how these people converted their ear rings for as metal horse for worshipping it. So, God has the purpose for not allowing Moses to step his feet with his followers.

God has his own way of interpreting things which is beyond human understanding. He knows our future what is bound to happen. May be, in our own wisdom we felt Moses should have been the first person to taste the serene environment in the Land of Canaan, but God sees it as very bad for this to happen when Moses had been there.
