Without tiring of doing good

(Edited)

Receive all of you a cordial and respectful greeting, I am very grateful to God for the privilege it gives me to be on this platform sharing with you.

Today I want to write about the human being and that little flame that most people have for acting on behalf of others. Where does it come from? what is it? I want to give my opinion based on life experiences and Biblical texts of course because I believe that the manual of the human being is the Bible because its author is the manufacturer. 😎

The Source of Goodness

In the Bible it is clearly stated that when God created the human being he did it in his image and likeness and breathed the breath of life into him, that life is nothing other than the spirit of man which is the essence of God Himself in us, this is a slightly deeper subject that I will not touch for now, however I want to point out that the day that Adam ate the forbidden fruit did not die according to the death we know but lived many more years, however God told him "THE DAY that of the fruit you eat, you will certainly die". What died in Adam was his spiritual nature and the ability to maintain a relationship with God, however that spirit (breath of life) continued to exist in the human being, of all this what I want to highlight is that God implanted his nature in us, then with sin man corrupted that nature but still corrupted continues to exist within us.

It is logical to think that many of God's characteristics were placed in us from the beginning and one of them is goodness. Many times we are going to find in the Bible the phrase "God is good", but they are not just written words. Also the creation shouts it to you, the perfection of everything that God created so that we could live in a healthy way, everything is made in an ideal way for life to be possible, the position of the earth with respect to the sun, the moon, gravity, oxygen, there are so many things that even without opening their eyes they will tell you how good God has been with you. In this way God is the one who puts in you the will as well as the doing of his good will.

Spontaneous motivation

Has it ever happened to you that when you see a person in distress you feel a strange force that makes you want to help him? to me if and I'm sure that most people happen to us, even the most evil human being on earth at some point in his life will show kindness to another human being, may be a family member, friend or stranger but always happen. The reason for this is the proof that there is in us that nature that God implanted, and that is that God's love for us has come even before we know Him, so that God has loved us spontaneously because it is written that "God loved us first". We voluntarily give love to the one who gives us love, that is an earthly nature (the corrupted one), we seek to do good to the one who has already done good for us or to give to the one who has the capacity to give back. However, in the teachings of Jesus we find that it is better to give to those who cannot give back because in this way we make treasures in heaven, who can do this practice voluntarily has mastered his earthly nature. But even those who do not practice it voluntarily will sometimes manifest acts of kindness to some stranger in distress, when this happens to you then remember that it is the nature of God at work in you.

Rewards we receive for giving selflessly

If we were a computer programmed to have wealth we would never give anything to anyone who could not return what was given even with profits, and is that not an apparent logic to do this type of practice, every time I have less, this is logical. But it has happened to you that after doing an act of kindness you are invaded by a feeling of well-being as if you had taken a burden off yourself? that satisfaction is something very valuable and has no price, every time you do an act of kindness in a disinterested way your spirit vibrates inside you giving you that feeling of well-being because you are acting according to the nature of God, in passing you are not losing anything of what you are giving, quite the opposite. God loves the cheerful giver and he who gives the poor to God lends. The merciful shall obtain mercy. Remember that if you have the power and ability to help a person in need you should not hesitate to do so because you will not go unrewarded and on the wrong day God will remember your actions to help you too. Make treasures in heaven, help another and help yourself to be a better person.

@jesusjacr, really doing good is one of the fruits of the spirit which determines that we have Jesus in our hearts, when we transform our lives we want to help and it is beautiful when we can do it without looking at conditions

That's right, when we do good we are manifesting God's love in our lives. Thank you for commenting! Blessings.
