SEE WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOURSELF AND NOT WHAT MEN SAYS

I got this when I was talking to a friend about how most of my friends or people around me laughs at me because I don’t have a big breast like most of my age mate and it became a problem to me that I became depressed.

While I was talking to him how I am always laughed at, he said to me,

"Eve, you are beautiful and any man in his right frame of mind who is in need of a good woman as a wife do not see those physical things but sees the inward beauty."

And then I asked him, why then did God not give me breast?
And he answered;

"Evelyn, see yourself the way God sees you and not the way man sees you. You’ve got potentials, ability and talents that God has embedded in you and until you take your eyes off what men see as the best physical beauty in a woman and focus on the things God sees a the beauty in a woman, build them and manifest them, you can never grow."

I was so worried and at a point in time I felt ungrateful that I have been questioning God why he never gave me breast instead of being grateful for the things He has given to me. I have been so beclouded by the things men see as physical beauty that I never realized how ungrateful I am. I have been so beclouded that I never saw the things God says and sees concerning me.

PSALM 139:13-14 says;

For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Vs. 13
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. Vs 14

Why then have I refused to see that I am wonderfully made, I am fearfully made?

He went on to say:

Psalms 139:15-16

My frame was not hidden from you when i was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Vs. 15
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.Vs. 16

All this while, I have been ungrateful and blind like the Israelites.

Number 13:27-33

They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruits Vs. 27

They refused to see the better side only saw the physical things as far as their eyes can take.

But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. Vs. 28

After Moses sent 12 spies to go up and see the land God was giving to them, they came back with bad report because they did not see what God was seeing for them. They only see what the physical eyes wanted seeing. Only Caleb and Joshua saw what God said and accepted everything. They were also grateful

Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” Vs. 30

The rest of the ten refused to see what God said and looked down on themselves and their creator.

But the men who had gone up with him said,

We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” Vs. 31
And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.Vs. 32
We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” Vs. 33

For how long are we going to continue looking down on ourselves as children of God?
For how long are we going to see ourselves as grasshoppers in our own eyes?
How long are we going to rebel against the Lord because we refuse to see ourselves the way God see us?

For as long as we refuse to see ourselves the way God sees us, we can never grow and manifest our God given talents and abilities.

Don’t look down on yourself, see yourself the way God sees you and not the way men see you.

This is deep as pd challenging. However, the biggest blow of the enemy is that we look down on ourselves and think that God hates us. Yet, the truth is that He made us fearfully and wonderfully.

Thank you for another quality and edifying blog shared to #sc-n

Thanks for sharing this.
You know the irony of life, Most times the things we complain about and we so much crave to have it, others are running away from it.
God knows what is best for us and that's exactly what he has given to us.
So let's stop this comparison, we are just beautifully and wonderfully made by him.

Thanks again for Sharing this @evegrace
