Every day I am more convinced of the power that our words have, of the intentionality with which we express them, the effect it has on us and in the life of the listeners. The spirit with which we speak.

In the Bible we have a treasure and a lot of text dedicated to this topic, what I want us to reflect on today is that every word that comes out of our mouth carries a motive with it.

"You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

Matthew 12:34

Of the things we fill our hearts, everything we eat is reflected in our words.

Let's not forget that our words have power:

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 18:21

Even in the Christian environment or the same people who speak the word of God, but with a spirit or intention of condemnation or legality use the words for that purpose.

The same word that gives life in many cases is used to condemn, to put a weight on believers.

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Colossians 4: 6

I invite you to examine yourself, examine your words and also examine what your heart is full, because if you open your bibles and try to give a message and your heart is full of something else, you will manifest that.

Cada día estoy mas convencido del poder que tienen nuestras palabras, de la intencionalidad con la que las expresamos, el efecto que tiene en nosotros y en la vida de los oyentes. El espíritu con el que damos la palabra.

En la biblia tenemos un tesoro y mucho texto dedicado a este tema, en lo que deseo que reflexionemos hoy es que cada palabra que sale de nuestra boca lleva un motivo consigo.

"De la abundancia del corazón habla la boca"

Mateo 12:34

De las cosas que llenamos nuestro corazón, de todo aquello que nos alimentamos se refleja en nuestras palabras.

No olvidemos que nuestras palabras tienen poder:

La muerte y la vida están en poder de la lengua,
Y el que la ama comerá de sus frutos.

Proverbios 18:21

Aún en el ambiente cristiano o las mismas personas que hablan la palabra de Dios, pero con un espíritu o intención de condena o legalidad utilizan las palabras para tal fin.

La misma palabra que da vida en muchos casos es utilizada para condenar, para poner un peso sobre los creyentes.

Sea vuestra palabra siempre con gracia, sazonada con sal, para que sepáis cómo debéis responder a cada uno.

Colosenses 4:6

Te invito a que te examines, examines tus palabras y también que examines de lo que está lleno tu corazón, porque si abres tu biblias e intentas dar un mensaje y tu corazón está lleno de otra cosa, eso mismo manifestarás.
