Objective:

Have at least 7 happy coins in your inventory, which will earn you a Hive SBI.

Additional twist:

Before each player takes their daily turn, roll a D20 to see if you get any bonus. **Please note** that the bonus must be used during the CURRENT TURN. If you do not specify to which action you wish to apply the bonus, it will be applied to your first action where applicable.

Minting:

In order to mint a happy-coin, you must deposit a happy-coin into the mint and pull the lever (2 actions). Your original coin will come out of the machine and you may retrieve it (another action). A new coin will be minted and appear somewhere on the map. To determine its location, roll a D6 and use values between 1 and 5; starting from the bottom right corner (where everyone begins) and count columns to the left. Then roll a D12 and use only values between 1 and 9 to count rows up. That is where the coin appears. If the numbers rolled are too high, roll again until a useable number is rolled.

Zombie turn after the players made their moves:

  • No existing zombies to move.
  • Rolls are 1,5,6 so nothing, runner, hulk spawn.

Please use my online tool for determining actions.

  • There is no need to roll twice for searches because the search function already has the roll for finding an item or finding a zombie built into it, so when searching, simply input the number of torches you have (default is zero, so if you have none, you need not enter anything) and click SEARCH to see what you found.
  • If you have a "double damage" that you wish to use with a search, you can add a torch to double the take.

You can also download an HTML file to run your own random number generator,
or get the revised, but more specific (thus less adaptable) version.

Bonus roll = 17. I will try and take out this Runner, then maybe I can help with the Hulk?
Action 1: Shoot the Runner in SZ2 = 3, miss. Ok calm the nerves and try again.
Action 2: Shoot Again = 3, damn miss again. Please don't tell me my luck has run out.
Action 3: Calm down, take aim, squeeze the trigger = 5, Boom down goes the runner. Whew, I thought my bad luck was returning. Unfortunately I can't do anything to help !ENGAGE 25 with the hulk, but I will put some !BEER on ice for you all.

COPIED FROM THE POSTED RULES:
Ranged weapons cannot be used against zombies in your square when there are other players in the same square (hand to hand combat only). If you are the only player in the square with a zombie you may use a ranged weapon. Shooting INTO a space where other players are will result in the players being hit before zombies are hit. With multiple targets in a space, the order of taking damage from a successful hit with a ranged weapon will be as follows: player, walker, runner, hulk.

My take on that would be that if P6 was OUTSIDE my space he would have hit me, but since he is within my space, he made an illegal action and did not hit me. I will play as if I'm alive until ruled otherwise.

I agree with your interpretation of the rules. In this case, the first sentence applies and the shotgun cannot be used. You are not dead and P6 needs to modify his actions.

Sorry @happyme and @secret-art - I was in a hurry this morning and didn't think it through. I had remembered going through a similar process earlier in this game.. but had misremembered what I had done... I had thought I had used my shotgun, but I had punched the zombie instead... so I've edited my turn and wailed on the Hulk with my fists as well. My apologies for the confusion and chaos.

I'm just glad to be alive. It would really suck to lose another player now. Hopefully we can get P5 back into the game soon. Keep up the good work of knocking down those zombies!
