Objective:

Stay alive and recover the Covid-19 vaccine antidote so you can (hopefully) become human again.
In this game, you must figure out how to open the safe... again!

Additional twist:

Before each player takes their daily turn, roll a D20 to see if you get any bonus. **Please note** that the bonus must be used during the CURRENT TURN. If you do not specify to which action you wish to apply the bonus, it will be applied to your first action where applicable.

Police turn after the players made their moves:

  • The injured sergeant shoots desperately into the crowd, rolls 6,1,2 hitting (2) P2.
  • The injured trainee moves S and swings its baton at P5, rolls 4,5, killing P5.
  • Rolls for spawning zones are 1,1 so nothing and nothing spawn.

Reminder:

Officer-in-training (T) will carry a baton (bat) = walker.
Rookie officers (R) will carry a pistol = runner.
Sergeants (S) will carry rifles = hulk.
ALL police get 3 actions per turn and can take 3 damage before they die (6 bare-handed hits).
Players re-spawn but lose their items when they die.

Please use my online tool for determining actions.

  • There is no need to roll twice for searches because the search function already has the roll for finding an item or finding a zombie built into it, so when searching, simply input the number of torches you have (default is zero, so if you have none, you need not enter anything) and click SEARCH to see what you found.
  • If you have a "double damage" that you wish to use with a search, you can add a torch to double the take.

You can also download an HTML file to run your own random number generator,
or get the revised, but more specific (thus less adaptable) version.

it was a difficult time, I knew in my broken heart of zombie hearts I would die that night. Dying is not so bad, it is the resurrection that hurts, the joints all stiff feeling. Fortunately the mind for those first few days seem to be fully intact, but that is its own problem, knowing that in a few days your mind will wander, that reality of life will slowly fade away as this disease takes over the mind. So complete a take over that we no longer know that in our zombie death that we will be reborn with the horror of knowing we will live through another cycle of violence as our own personal reset button is punched.

I travel north on the morrow to meet my fate. Will we reach the safety of the vault? Will the cure work? Will we ever get to sit down and enjoy real !PIZZA and !BEER instead of weeks old pizza and no real beer. Will life ever return where people can !ENGAGE 25 with each other. These and many other thoughts drift through my revitalized zombie mind. Onward we march, onward we search, onward we seek a cure before we die.

Bonus roll = 2

I believe I can use the rifle on the cop in my square. I checked the rules and it said ranged weapons can be used on targets one square away or less... but less me know if I'm interpreting this incorrectly.

Action 1: Fire at the Sergeant in my square with the rifle (rolled a 2).
Action 2: Fire at the Sergeant in my square with the rifle (rolled a 2).
Action 3: Fire at the Sergeant in my square with the rifle (rolled a 5).

One down, one to go I think...

No cops respawning gives us some non-breathing space... Phew

It seems that zombies are better shots than living people! THEY can shoot into a room full of targets and NOT hit one of theirs! Weird, huh?

I think it's because they don't care if they hit their own... so there's no nerves or pressure... which, ironically, makes the shot so much easier.
