Combine 3 garlic to make 2 strength potions and take one. Combine 3 mint to make 2 accuracy potions and take one.
Action 1: Attack the bear using the battleaxe (5 damage +2 from the strength potion = 7 ). Bear's 'to hit' is 10, -4 from the necklaces and -2 from the accuracy potion, so I need just 4 to hit. Rolled 7 for a hit.
Action 2: Attack again. Rolled 4 for another hit (just barely!).
Action 3: Attack again. Rolled 7 for a 3rd hit, totaling 21 damage to the bear.

I swap necklaces to give me protection from the bear.
The bear attacks me, needing 14 or greater to hit. Rolls are 6,3,20. I suffer 5 damage to my armor.
I swap necklaces to lower the bears hit points by 4.
Woops! I could NOT swap necklaces because they are in storage! So the bear only needed 10 to hit, but still missed twice anyway. Lucky me!

There are 9 players now, but just 5 of them are active. The other 4 are taking time off. The spreadsheet that is linked from each day's play has all the statistics on it. Are you interested in playing?
