Objective:

Build an empire.

Players can see a spreadsheet with their inventory and health here:

ctrl + L-click OR R-click and choose to open in a new tab (these are the ONLY solutions I found for opening a new tab/window).

Simplified Delegations to @happyme

Get votes roughly 10 times the value of your delegation. (I can vote twice if you exceed my VP.) Those who play the adventure games and delegate have been getting just over 20X their delegation value beyond what the other players get! I try to give as much as I possibly can, but as more people delegate, I'll need to cut back the VP to accommodate the extra daily votes.

WoW! Our first lumber mill. Good job! I was wondering what you were going to do with all those fish.
I guess you will want to set up your mill near a forest. I'm not sure if we should even bother with choosing a location, but I was thinking that perhaps (if I can find a suitable image) it might be nice to have a visible representation somewhere on the board. Since I make up these games as I go, it is often the players who guide my decisions. Would you prefer a physical location on the board for your mill or just an entry on the spread-sheet?

Choosing a physical location could lead to the need to deliver the wood to the mill and offer a place for players to go to to buy the milled lumber. Or we could leave it as an inventory item where it can be traded and shipped instantly to anywhere on the map. Do we want to make the game more difficult or keep it simple?

Looking for consensus here, so all players can chime in.

A physical location would be more fun in my opinion.

OK, thanks for that opinion. I think so too, but let's see what others will say.
In the mean-time, would you like to choose a location and I'll put it on the spread-sheet. Either way then, we will be prepared.

Space 2D, 13 would be my choice if we go with the physical location thing.

How did you know to do this?

(Edited)

I read through the rule-book and just figured it out. The spreadsheet contains a list of all the things the merchant sells and buys, and for how much.

Edit: Here's the links you need...

Player 12 (2nd)

Consume a strength potion, then...
Action 1: Attack the bear with my spear, melee style. Rolled 7 and missed.
Action 2: Attack the bear with my spear, melee style. Rolled 3 and missed.
Action 3: Attack the bear with my spear, melee style. Rolled 20 and killed the bear. Whew! That was close! At least now P11 can relax.

Crafting: I use my hatchet to skin the bear and cut it up into 90 string-like strips. I chop the meat up into 18 food parcels and I knock out 12 incisor teeth and 4 canine teeth from the bear's mouth as well as chop off 20 claws from its toes. I'll need to go to the bunk-house to get my nail before I can drill holes into the teeth and claws, so I'll hang onto those for now. But P11 needs food, so I give him 9 food now.

Awesome. I found a branch and some sap. I am going to glue my string to the branch with the sap and tie my safety pin to the end.

Action 3: Move space towards the water. Next turn I will be looking for some worms.

yeah progress!

Since you already have aluminum tubing and sap, you don't need BOTH the tubing and a branch. The string can be tied securely to a branch since the branch is not smooth like the tubing. You COULD search today if you wanted to @simplegame. Just decide if you want to use the tubing and sap or branch without sap and use the saved action to search for a worm.

Ok. thanks for clearing that up. I will use the sap on the tubing so i have (7) left.

i will use my last action to search !D6 and see if there is any bugs (caterpillar's) or worms around the tree I can use as bait.

RECAP:

Action 1: You rolled a 6 to find sap.
Crafting: use the sap to glue the string that is tied to the ends of 2 aluminum poles so that the string doesn't slide off the end of the poles.
Action 2: Searched for a worm and rolled 4, finding a worm.
Action 3: Searched for another worm and rolled 1, so no luck that time.

(You still have 8 aluminum poles because you started with 10 and are making 2 fishing poles.) You can actually move to the water and catch some fish or keep searching for a 2nd worm so that you have a baited fishing pole to sell (or try to sell it as is).

Action 2 : gather tree sap if I can find some !D6

Hurray for sap !

I then craft a metal fishing pole using a metal tubing, some sap for glue, and the string (and safety pin, if necessary ?)

I then move over to the river, next to the log so I can search for grubs in it and go directly to fishing afterwards.

Action 3 : move to 2J-5

The safety-pin is your makeshift hook, so yes, it is necessary.

Player 9 (last)

Action 1: Search for a suitable branch to make a fishing pole. Rolled 1 and failed.
Action 2: Search for a suitable branch to make a fishing pole. Rolled 5 and found one.
After breaking off the twigs and tying an end of the string to the tip of the branch, tie a safety-pin to the other end of the string and thread the worm onto the pin for bait to complete a baited fish-pole.
Action 3: Move to 2D-15.
