I just read a newspaper article about an online church for gamers on twitch with thousands of followers.

Pastor Souzy shared that there were approximately 2.6 billion people around the world playing video games during an interview for Washington Post. He would be able to reach out to them through twitch.

He titled his streams as ‘A Pastor Playing Halo’ on 19 December 2014. He started out simply by being a guy playing games and talking about Jesus.

After getting more regular viewers, the online church, GodSquad, was founded on March 2016.
