Reaching out - Bursting the bubble?

avatar

Hey Steemians and other mortals!

Yesterday I published another photography post about textures & patterns in nature, and followed it by my usual practice - sharing on other social media - even tho I'm not an influencer nor have a big base of followers maybe someone catches it and gets lured to steem, who knows... well, something similar happened just today.

How and what?

About an hour or two, after I twitted my post, I received few notifications - thanks Svemirac amongst 2 other people, as well as some new followers.

User Photogether tagged me and selected my post as a highlight of the daily science photography on paper.li.

I'll keep trying to reach out to unknown people and random followers and let's see maybe both followers and steem userbase starts growing - one user at a time, it would be nice if other steemians, with amazing content, would consider sharing on their own social networks and reaching out.

Since its all for steem, and I didn't sacrifice much of a time and effort in this post - 50% beneficiary is set to steem.DAO.

If you happen to have some free witness votes and searching for a dedicated witness, please consider casting a vote for crowdwitness.

Cheers,

I placed my vote for #crowdwitness a long time ago :>)
Hey @svemirac … by the way...does my 100sp delegated to @curie earn anything directly? Just wondering...I'm not in the trail because I actively curate manually and don't have much SP to spread thinly.

Oh, I forgot to answer this one :) @angryman.
I know, and really appreciate your constant support!

Nothing directly, we don't return part of the curation reward back, or at least not yet. Soon we'll change the concept of curation when communities hit the ground officially. It's gonna be fun! :)

Thanks for the reply @svemirac … I see Communities are being released now, as you are probably fully aware of :>)

Got it...I'll need to get used to the Feed button disappearing though, so I hope I don't miss @curie posts on a timely basis :>) I used Feed a lot to connect to new posts....
