Maybe those could get their own tab, like trending.

An enormous ocean of information, that is what the Steem blockchain is holding. Visitors get to see 'trending' when they get to sites like SteemIt dot com. It is bidbot driven, mostly. And it might not be the most inviting thing to get people to join Steem.

There are ways to find great posts though. Group efforts of Steemians finding interesting publications, sharing and supporting it. One of those innitiaves is OCD. And you can find its curation efforts here: https://steempeak.com/@ocd/trail
