Here is a post that may have you questioning your grasp of everyday math.

Many of you won't know what is happening at the highest echelons of steem.
You weren't here in the early days to know who is now pulling strings from behind the scenery.

You probably won't be privy to the reasons that some people want to tank steem to just spite some folks that said some mean things about them.

I mean, we only have to look at golos to see what happens when you let a whale tail start wagging the whole ocean.

For those of you that don't know, golos is the Russian fork of steem that tried to kill bidbots by force, instead of attrition.
It was very drama filled, I guess.
I don't read Russian, nor have a telegram account.
But, being a fork of steem, it is all there on the blockchain, if you got the skills to look.

Steem is killing bid bots by attrition.
We will know our final victory when the last one has no customers.

As it is, there are not very many of us savvy users left.
We get a few hundred new users each week, but they don't know that this is the new normal, and not the old normal.
It is just normal, to them.

If we continue to not control those that act against the long-term interests of steem we are doomed to the penny stock slot.
As long as they continue to sell at these prices, these prices are all we can expect to ever get.

How much steem is being pulled out daily to trade for btc by those with more than they need?

How much of that is from the ninjamine?
How much of it is from the reward pool?

The reward pool we can mostly control.
Just stop voting rewards to people that sell at these prices.
But the ninjamine stake can be sold only once, earns only ~2% interest, and will at some point be exhausted.
When can we expect that day?

I have many questions, but am not in a position to learn how to pull the numbers from the chain, atm.
If you can do that, how about enlightening those of us that need to know?
