What are tribes? Basically communities of similar interests and topics. These can help get your posts more exposure since if your content is posted among these, they will be easier to find for like-minded folks who would be looking among these community tags and boards to find other content in their interest. Some examples of tribes:

  • Palnet - General posting community.
  • Neoxian - General posting community.
  • DBlog - General blog community.
  • Creativecoin - Arts posting community.
  • SteemLeo - Economy and investment posting community.

There are more tribes than these listed! How can you utilize these tribes? Simple, just add the tribe's name into your tags (or whatever other tags that community uses). Just make sure that the content you're posting is related to the theme of the tribe before using a corresponding tribe tag.

Besides clicking on the tag itself to check out other content in those tribes, you can go to the site boards themselves. Their interface is like Steemit's but instead all content posted on them is only there through the use of their tribe tags. Click the tribe names above to see.

You can also login to your account on those site boards using your Steem private keys in the same way you would use them here. Your page will look similar in interface like your Steemit page as well. Examples of the boards (all are minus the quotes):

Tribes sound like a great idea to share your works with and get more exposure, but they aren't the only way to share your content! See ya next post!
