Will Steem survive?

Hi,

well today I ask a simple questions: Will Steem as blockchain survive?

At the moment I don't know as nothing is working. I see the top accounts abusing the situation, @steemcleaners not flagging spam and upvoting content that is not relevant.

I see that after this thing is over, the top witnesses will not make a statement so that the newly gained votes are removed and are distributed around the other witnesses. I will remove mine and distribute to lower placed witnesses for example.

The whole situation is open fro abuse from one side to the other.

I want to see top witnesses not powering down, none of them for 6-12 months. This would be a sign of commitment. I would like to see top witnesses buying Steem, not only producing it.

Till this does not happen, I don't see a bright future in here. i will remain till one point active, that is for sure, but I might close everything and go.
