Independently of Hardforks (I prefer a nice soft cat bed, personally!), I've noticed that the Steem-Engine based "tribe" feeds seem a bit dodgy, from time to time.

What's going on?

What I mean by that is that it seems that the flow of new posts periodically (but following no particular pattern) grinds to a complete halt for several hours... and then resumes.

If you have the misfortune to have published a post during such a time — and tagged it correctly for the tribe of your choice — you are pretty much S.O.L. and that post will never be part of your chosen tribe's feed.

Happened to my Dad-Hooman earlier today... he worked really hard an an introductory post to a tribe, and then it ended up only showing in the main Steemit feed.

I wonder what's going on with that, and whether anyone's aware of the issue and working on it?

I haven't had any of my own posts go astray (yet!), but hope it doesn't happen... but I have seen these odd gaps in the feed of new posts, through "tribal front ends." They typically last from about an hour to several (3-4) hours.

What's interesting is that whenever this happens, the "cutoff point" is the same for all tribal feeds, while the primary Steem "new" post feed continues to post normally.

Going to tag this with a couple of my favorite tribes... mostly to see what happens — hopefully all will be well and it's just a temporary glitch.
