Steem-Engine Hardfork successful! Delegation can now be enabled and Decimal Precision can be increased.

Did the fork greatly change pending payouts for some reason? One of mine had shown as 50 PAL for several days but dropped to 2 PAL right after the fork. At the other end, I’ve seen some other accounts with thousands in pending payouts, again since the fork.

It's so good to see this one finally live. I have been itching to get these changes out with the hardfork. Mad props to @harpagon for the great backend updates. Since the release of these changes, I've identified and improved a couple of aspects in the UI that could in some circumstances have resulted in strange bugs, but nothing serious.

Onwards and upwards.

What is the return time for a delegation?

Hi, as the issuer I can see the Enable Delegation icon, but on clicking it it does nothing at all. Will obviously wait, and try later, just mention it in case there's a tiny bug somewhere.

Luckily I read the custom json transaction. Is it really 1000 ENG to enable delegations for a token?

Oh yeah, the enable button works now but had to log off then back on again.

지난번... 점검으로 대략 400 SCT가 공중분해 된 후로는,,,
가슴이 콩알만해졌습니다.

이번 하드포크는 안전한가요? 믿지 못하겠습니다.

지난주였나 지지난주였나, 점검때 제 SCT 보팅마나가 비정상적으로 감소한 적도 있었죠.
이땐 회복하긴 했지만요.

뭔가 점검을 하면 뭔가가 작살이 납니다.
보상 받을 SCT가 공중분해된다거나
SCT 보팅마나가 작살난다거나.

아쉬운 건...
지난번 보팅마나 땐,,, 공지도 올리고 복구도 시켜줬는데,
보상이 1/4토막난 건 어떠한 공지도 없다는 겁니다.
최소한
'이번 일을 인지하고 있고 원인도 찾았다. 그러나 돌이킬 수는 없다. 그래서 앞으로는 조심하겠다.'
정도의 공지는 올렸어야 맞죠.
그런데 안 올리고 있어요.

그래서 하드포크땐 아무것도 안 하고 있는 게 상책입니다.
그러나,,,
점검은 언제 할 지도 모르고,
니트로가 언제 죽을지도 모르니...
니트로 죽었을 때 내가 걸리면 그냥 재수없는 겁니다.
저야 뭐 소액 투자자니까 대략 400 SCT, 그당시 시세로는 대략 20만원 정도 손해본 게 다지만,
(제 글에 큐레이션 한 분들의 큐레이터 보상금도 대략 400이 공중분해 됐죠.)
수백 수천을 입출금 하거나 할 때 엔진이나 니트로가 죽어버린다면...
정말 재수가 더럽게 없는 겁니다.

그리고 니트로 죽었다가 다시 살렸더니 400이 날아갈 수도 있다면,
엔진 죽었다가 다시 살렸더니 수백 수천 토큰들이 날아가지 말라는 법도 없는 겁니다.
이 말은 엔진이 불완전하다는 것이고, 이 말은 또 엔진 해킹 가능성도 열려 있다는 뜻입니다.
원래 댐이 무너지는 건 손가락만한 구멍 하나에서 시작하듯,
문제는 작게 시작하고 점점 커지니까요.

저는 게임을 엄청 좋아하는데요.
언제부턴가 운빨게임을 안 하게 됐습니다.
자꾸 비교하게 되더군요.
왜 내 상자에선 전설이 안 나오지? 이러면서요.
이런 모습을 보니 참 제가 한심하더군요.
그래서 운빨게임은 안 합니다.

스팀엔진이 운빨엔진이 안 되길 바랍니다.
재수 없으면 토큰 날리고, 재수 좋으면 안전한 엔진이 아닌,
언제나 정확하고 문제없이 돌아가는 엔진이 되길 바랍니다.

문제가 생겼는데 아무런 공지 안 하는 스팀엔진과,
파워다운 하면서 공지 안 하는 디커머스와,
말없이 게임 중단한 매직다이스가
별 차이 안 나 보인다는 시선이 생긴다면 어떤 일이 벌어질까요?
이바닥 코인판이 어떤곳인지 다들 아시죠?
어제까지 멀쩡하다가 다음날 새벽에 먹튀하는 판입니다.
부디 스팀엔진은 먹튀를 안 하길 바랍니다.

그리고 문제가 생겼을 때,
공지하는 건 예의라고 생각합니다.

DLease.io is getting its own backend engine on BuildTeam microservices infrastructure separate from the @minnowbooser monolithic code, we should be live before end of July and have our sights set on delegation markets for Steem-Engine tokens and SM cards once we have migrated to the new backend.
