2 Quick Updates- Scotbot having issues, PALcoin claimdrop getting worked on
Sorry for the quick note. I'm driving to PA, and have been a little unavailable for parts of the issues tonight.
Scotbot
Scotbot isn't responding right now. I can't reach the dev. I dont' have a good backup plan other than wait for him to wake up. Obviously this isn't the best plan and we'll work on alternatives after the bot is fixed and replayed. There's likely some weird outlier case that stopped the DB from properly storing posts. When it is replayed all the voting you did will be logged and votes applied. Blockchains are cool like that.
Nothing was lost. Sorry if your post didn't trend for a little bit there, but it's very likely to fixed in the next 12 hours or so. If it isn't fixed by then I'll send out another update with what's going on and the plan to fix it.
Claimdrop
I know everyone wants their PALcoin. We want to give them to you. There was a small issue with the test case and we're trying to make sure we get it right. So, that needs a couple tweaks but since the dev lives "Down Under" he's actually on it now. Hopefully that's in the next 12 hours too.
It'll get fixed, Steem-engine.com is unaffected, your posts will be rewarded and miners will get claims
Should be fun. Sorry for the delayed response. We appreciate your patience. We're still new, and I'll make a better system for the "oh shit" moments.
Dude, it's no biggie. The amazing growth you've been a part of in the past 3 months (at the depths of the crypto winter no less) is more than enough compensation. This is just growing pains! If these products weren't massively successful, you wouldn't be having this issue.

This one of those "man in the arena" moments. Those of us who are not currently working on our own dev projects have to right to complain. Bugs happen all the time.

Someone tell me about SMTs again please. What's that other than an abbreviation for send me this?
SMT is something that stinc designed but never got around to making for some reason. It's basically like the ERC-20 token standard for the STEEM blockchain.

Thanx for the update. Maybe a backup dev for cases like this? Well I can easily talk here from Holland. But I've bin system administrator for a dev company they worked in teams even I had 2 backups ok ok they didn't knew everything but. They could keep everything running but keep on the good work.

Scotbot can be a problem. However, it is not good to have trouble and let me know in 9 hours. I love Steem-engine and cheer. Good luck.

You should probably make another post about how to do the claim drop. I hadn't seen about it until today, guess I missed the posts, and then I kept clicking posts that were just mentioning it, until I found one mentioning the button, then clicked it, and was like "Wow...that was way easier than I thought it would be."
