Beautiful Sunday: Coffee Mugs are Telling

When my friends come to visit, many hours are spent in the upstairs family room.

For their convenience and mine, I set up a coffee station in the family room since most of them are coffee or tea drinkers like myself.

It also frees up cabinet space in my kitchen for cooking, china and serving wares regularly used for cooking and table service.

So what's so special about these regular, ordinary and inexpensive mugs?

All of the mugs on this mug rack were gifts from friends.

Having the mugs hanging in a special place is not only practical, but also demonstrates my gratitude, appreciation, and convey to those who gave me a mug or two that I value their practical gift.

Mugs are so bulky and take us so much cabinet space... through the years they just acummulate (like our stacks). Thank goodness mug racks were created. It is so funny, but my friends would individually gravitate and chose and use the mug they gave me for their use, hehehe 😂! Today is Sunday, and I will be leaving for Mass in an hour. Pretty mug, sis!!! I love the color. I know you like cats, sis... just like @elizabethbit! I do have a yorkie mug that I got for myself a long time ago. But there is just no space anywhere in this rack. You know that I love Yorkies..

What a great idea, to have a coffee/tea service upstairs and to keep the odd mugs up there rather than their taking up space in the kitchen cabinets! Love your collection! 😁

I have a few odd mugs, too, but not as many as you do. This one is my favorite:

I am reminded of how you are able see abstract art (and capture it on a photo) in a fallen leaf! What care you have given that mug!!! It is lovely perhaps as lovely as when it found you 20 years ago.

What a Great Idea Ms. Saver. Actually I am glad that I don't Really Drink Coffee. I never really got in to the routine of starting my day with Coffee. I do like Tea Though and drink it once in a while....... Have a wonderful Sunday @silversaver888

I know that if there is one thing that qualifies me as lucky, it is being surrounded by loving and caring friends. I am doubly lucky that I have you and several wonderful social media friends here on steemit as well! BTW, will you be making more of your handcrafted truffles? I’ve been eating no more than two pieces a week and finally consumed all eight last week. I think I am addicted to it and have not thrown the box away... perhaps wishing that it will replenish itself, 🤣😅😅!

Good friends are a tough commodity in this world.
I was actually asked if i was interested in making them for a party for 100 people. I gave them a price, I’ll know this week if they are gonna do it. The party is next weekend. If so i will make some extra for you.

You're welcome. I'm Bit of both. for me, depends on the mood and necessity.
I usually have one coffee in the morning. Afternoon depends on need.
If I need a immediate spike of caffeine, it's coffee or if I need longer slower dose, then tea. 😎
