Fellow OG Steemian @Streetstyle did his thing once again and organized #SPUD4.
What is SPUD?
S.P.U.D stands for Steem Power Up Day. It's every Steem blockchain's user duty to rep and promote our blockchain. In evey SPUD event, which by the way aways happens on the 1st day of each month, we (Steemians) are supposed to power up any ammount of Steem we can in order to Stake some Steem Power and secure that our blockchain will be up and running forever. By doing so we have many benefits like :
More Voting Power
More Curation rewards and people are more likely to remember your name if you throw them a fat upvoteSecuring your Steem Account
If by any chance your account gets hacked, having a lot of liquid Steem can be troublesome. Liquid Steem can be transfered to any wallet withing seconds. On the other hand, Steem Power takes 13 weeks to leave your wallet so you are safe.Price Stability
When people stake SP the price of Steem is secured. More staked Steem means less -% Steem price. Buying more Steem means +% in price.
My #SPUD4 day
Wish I could power up more but being a Full-Time Steemian I need liquid Steem to pay my rent. I powered up 71 Steem and that was the best I could do for this month.
I hope we can witness a big Steem price pump before #SPUD5 and Power Up a ton more Steem than I did this month.

No worries @knowhow92 You did it, plus #SPUD actually just ended in American Samoa like 2 or 3 hours ago.... with Steem being a Global blockchain we actually get a 48hr spin around the globe.
