Buying via PayPal: Easy and Worth it?

I totally have forgotten about my paypal account that I used to have a little SGD for some online e-book purchase...

But because I haven't tried using it for quite a while I was a little lost getting used to Paypal; and as far as I remembered, transferring money via paypal actually will charge quite a bit of fees to it.

I actually had an option to have my card charged; but since I actually do have some from SGD I tried converting it with the rate from SGD to USD...

I tried comparing using just SGD to purchase the untamed pack, but it happened to be more expensive; and I decided even not having the internal conversion over my favour, I tried getting my SGD converted into USD

(Apparently MYR no longer could convert. I guess paypal isn't treating Malaysia kindly)

It does turned out to be a direct deduct of a value of USD6 (without extra fees). I am not sure did I miss out the steps but I think so far, it was pretty all right and I was happy that it got through without any hiccups.

So there goes my investments: turning knowledge acquiring into splinterland untamed packs....

I am hoping that they will be of good value in the future; and I am keeping each untamed pack for each of the munchkins. No one fights for it.... and I hope when they open it in the future (after all the exams), those cards buried inside will truly worth the value.

Verdict?

Buy with fiat money or not?
Yay - if you are really serious about the game; and you have a bit extra cash, and that paypal is acceptable in your country.

Right now because of the further price drop of BTC by 2,000 USD since last week, it is really no point investing the untamed packs with crypto.

(Unless you already pretty much earned a substantial profit and you are not purchasing in bulk)

As for STEEM, if I can HODL it I would, and just keep supporting the rest of the community content later instead of using it to buy untamed at the moment.

Every investment is a chance. Nothing is a sure win solid when it comes to investments. Don't invest if you don't have the money.

(I didn't convert back to MYR because I didn't see the function of converting SGD to MYR. So I might as well use it for the untamed packs)
