Yea, it could get messy real quick if you're not careful, but I'm sure there's a way to work it out. I never really thought about getting anything back if I left or got booted from the guild. We have a good core group in the one I'm in. I always saw it as incentive to stay active, but I can see situations where that could go wrong. Maybe make a token for guild seats, and add them to the market? If you get booted, you're no longer able to benefit from the guild, and have a certain amount of time to put your seat on the market or it times out and you lose it, but it can stay on the market as long as it takes to sell, or maybe even transfer it to another guild?

As far as the use of the land, I think it would be better to either have special rules built in for land owned by guilds, or maybe have a whole separate type of land that's exactly the same, but designed on the back end specifically for guilds that would allow for use by multiple people in the guild to use it at the same time or something... That may take a lot of work though. Just a thought.

I started an account @roaringtwenties, to take any ongoing subscription fees, (I don't think you can overcontribute to the Guild Hall) so we could do any guild crafting stuff there.
Unless there are bulk discounts or efficiencies of scale, we're probably better off just running our own projects. Much easier logistically.
