South Africa's 3-match ODI tour of India will come to an end on the 18th of March and the PSL final will be played on the 22nd of March. With IPL set to begin from the 29th of March and plenty of South African players involved, it is very logical for South Africa to play a short series of three T20 internationals after the PSL is over.

PCB chief executive, Wasim Khan said that after South Africa finishes their India tour, they can fly over to UAE for a few days and we will provide them with all the facilities required for practice. He also said that alternatively, South Africa can come to Pakistan if they are comfortable with it and we will take care of the rest of the things.

South African team's head of security will travel to Pakistan to see the security arrangements. He will stay in Pakistan during the first phase of PSL to get a deeper look into how Pakistan is conducting its matches.

If South Africa decide to travel t Pakistan, it will be the first visit of a major cricket playing nation in 12 years. This will obviously be a huge boost for Pakistan cricket and its fans. This will also open doors for other nations and they might end up playing in Pakistan this year. This season of PSL is also happening in Pakistan. Slowly but steadily, cricket is returning to Pakistan. Fans didn't turn up in huge numbers earlier when Sri Lanka was playing Pakistan but probably they will now because South Africa is a great team and they play very well in every part of the world. This series might be a treat to watch for the fans in Pakistan.
