Archer Ruled Out of Sri Lanka Tour And IPL
Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the upcoming tour against Sri Lanka due to elbow injury. He will also miss out on cash-rich IPL which is scheduled to start from the 29th of March. He picked up an injury during the first test of England - South Africa test series.
Royals management said that they are in contact with ECB to facilitate speedy recovery of Archer but ECB said that he will take about 3 months to recover fully from the fracture. This will mean that he won't be participating in this year's IPL. It will definitely be a huge blow for Rajasthan Royals.
His Royals teammate, Tom Curran said that it is obviously a big blow for the team but at the same time he said that it will be a great opportunity for other players in the team including myself.
