Liverpool 5, Arsenal 5. Liverpool won on penalties
Liverpool vs Arsenal match was very crazy. No one expected such scores. The 10 goals they scored in one match is close to a dozen. The own goal scored by Shkodran Mustafi opened the door for more goals. Lucas Torriera equalized in the 19th minute. The match continues and Liverpool player was given a yellow card for the ball the keeper wanted to serve out to his players.
This part amused me. I don’t think the player was wrong for doing that. He didn’t touch the keeper, neither did he tackle him. In my opinion, that decision was not professional. A minute after the yellow card, Arsenal’s Lucas Torriera scored the second goal making the scores 1-2. At exactly 10 minutes after the second goal, the same guy scored another one giving him a brace in that match. The third goal was very simple. Liverpool’s defense leaked and a parallel square play came out for Lucas Torreira, which he slotted at the back of the net.

Liverpool kept struggling to score and luck smiled on them in the 43rd minutes when they got a penalty, and James Milner net the ball to make it 2-3. In the second half Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland scored in the 54th minute. Liverpool grew angry and coordinated themselves to fight back, which yielded an equalizer. Alex Chamberlain and Divok Origi scored in the 58th and 62nd minutes respectively making it 4-4. The shot by Alex Oxlade Chamberlain was terrific. The Arsenal players were ashamed to see such a mess.
They regroup and played as they’ve never played and hit Liverpool with another goal. Arsenal really means business. They gave all the got. Thanks to Joseph Wilock for the fifth goal. Arsenal supporters had already started jubilating because it was 90 minutes and the referee was about to blow the final whistle. But to my surprise, Divock Origi controlled the ball to deceive Arsenal defender and played a shot that stopped at the back of the net. They ended the match 5-5, and it was decided by a penalty, where Daniel Ceballos lost the fourth penalty for Arsenal to give Liverpool the lead. He who laugh last laugh the best. Liverpool won on penalties. What an exciting game. 19 goals in one match.
