Weights: 4th April 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

My regime is quite set for the evening and morning nowadays, as my daughter is taking more and more interest in getting her exercises done. Her basketball coach also keeps sending some basic exercise videos which we use for the evening schedule.

So, here’s what happened yesterday evening. We did three reps of suicide drills and one set of continuous run. (After which we were panting like crazy). Those who do not know what a suicide drill is lookup on google. It is quite a stuff.

But we didn’t stop there and went ahead with this video. It shows about 12 exercises of 30 seconds each with a 10-second break between each, and boy did I underestimate it. Try doing it.

I usually do a half-an-hour to forty-five-minute exercise in the morning and the evening regime does not even last fifteen minutes, but I was sweating bucket loads after doing the above drill. If you get through one rep, trying doing three sets of all of the above… Crazy, ain’t it?

Anyway, morning in comparison was a breeze. The focused exercise was shoulder with planks and cross-fit thrown in. Trust me, it took me more time than yesterday evening to get through the regime, but not even 1/10th of the sweat. So, you can understand the intensity of the evening exercise.

I am starting to like this morning and evening regime, and I will figure out some way to include the evening one even after the lockdown is over. So, that’s it from me.

Hope you are having a healthy day too.

Stay fit, stay home, stay safe!

Good day! 😊
