Fitness: 5th November 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

Now that the winter is setting in, it has become pleasant through the day. The mornings are even better and definitely good for running. I started my day with some meditation and some soul cleansing. 😊

Once my daughter got up, we were on with our morning regime. I realize that she gets her drive to exercise from my drive. Although she is on autopilot much of the time, it is good for me to exercise along with her.

Anyway, what exercise did I do?

We followed my daughter’s cardio-cum-strength regime. Here it is:

  1. Warm-up: About three minutes
  2. Dynamic abdominal plank: 45-seconds
  3. Burpees: 6
  4. Side planks: 30-seconds each side
  5. Rock-climbing: 45-seconds
  6. Reverse cycling: 30-seconds
  7. Reverse row-hold: 30-seconds

We did not take a break between the exercises, and it was a puffing and panting experience. Anyway, it was fun, and I will soon start my evening regime too. Let’s see how that goes.

Bijender Singh of India holds the record for most pushups in an hour. He completed 3,877 pushups in an hour, thereby entering the Guinness World Record.

The astonishing thing is that the record was created in 1988 and stands to this day!

So, anyone plans to challenge the record? 😊
