Dale Earnhardt—Plane crash!

Yesterday, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s plane crashed at Elizabethton Municipal Airport together with his family and two other pilots.

According to Ralph Hicks a NTSB investigator, there was a video footage recovered during the crash. Hicks said that the plane bounced twice in the runway.

"The airplane basically bounced at least twice before coming down hard on the right main landing gear, you can actually see the right main landing gear collapsing on the video. The airplane continued down the runway, off to the end, through a fence and came to a stop behind me here on Highway 91." Hicks said.

According to Federal Aviation Administration officials, after landing in the airport, the plane caught fire and during the emergency they used the aircraft doors to evacuate the plane.

Luckily, no one died during the plane crash, Earnhardt Jr. only received a minor injuries and there was no report of any major injuries on any of them.

Earnhardt's sister—Kelley Earhardt tweeted that everyone was safe and was taken to the hospital.

"I can confirm Dale, Amy & Isla along with his two pilots were involved in a crash in Bristol TN this afternoon. Everyone is safe and has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. We have no further information at this time. Thank you for your understanding."
