Luis Suárez switched a few days ago to the league rivals to Madrid, but it was apparently not the newly appointed Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman who stood with that decision. According to the Dutch coach, it was a decision that had already been made by the club before his arrival in the Catalan.

It looks like I've been the villain in this movie. But before I arrived here, some decisions have already been made, and I supported those decisions - it was not up to me, Ronald Koeman said at a press conference this Saturday, according to Goal.com, and went on to explain about his treatment of the experienced Uruguayan striker.

I only showed respect for Suárez, as a person and as a player. I told him that if he stayed, it would be hard for him to play, but that he would be part of the squad.

33-year-old Luis Suárez joined the Catalan giant back in the summer of 2014, when he switched from Liverpool. Suárez managed to pull the Barcelona jersey over his head 283 times, and the Uruguayan had since scored 195 goals, as well as as many as 113 assists in the almost 300 matches for the Catalans.
