Kylian Mbappe: - Never asked PSG to sign a player
With just one year left on his current contract with PSG, Kylian Mbappe's future is still uncertain and full of lots of questions. Recently, another case arose around Mbappe's role in the French capital club, which simply raised even more questions about the Frenchman.
Some rumors say that Mbappe is waiting to extend his contract until the club has signed with some high-profile players. To this rumor, the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, replied that Mbappe did not have that kind of power in the club and that he would not be sold in the upcoming transfer window.
Mbappe has subsequently been out to comment on these comments, and said the following at the press conference prior to France's first group match against Germany:
I have never asked for a single player from the president or Leonardo. I'm a simple football player. I'm here to represent France - the team is the most important thing. I do not want to disturb the group, Mbappe said.
Mbappe had a personal good season for PSG, scoring 42 goals in 47 games in all competitions. France meet Germany on Tuesday night in the "death pool" at the European Championships at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
He can still extend his contract at PSG. I am sure PSG will not want the player to just go like that as well. PSG will try to use everything to lure him because if he fail to sign then they will be ready to loose him to madrid who have been interested in signing him for a long time. Besides he is an outstanding world class player that every club owner who like to have.
Obviously we can see how much he tried to helped the team in champions league even if we didnt watch their league game as such. Especially how he made the team to qualify in the hand of barca when Neymar wasnt available due to injury.
Arguably Mbape is one of the young most promising player in the world right now and to me PSG are still very much lucky to have a player like that with Neymar too in their possession and I want to believed that PSG on their own need to sign better player especially in the middle of their team and even defensively also to actually compliment the hard work from this great players they already have if they are to compete and win major honors come next football season
