According to Italian Sky Sport Italia, Inter and Napoli are negotiating for Inter's Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino. The player himself has already accepted a switch to Napoli.

According to the media, the agreement, if the clubs can agree, will include a loan for the entire current season with a purchase option that Napoli can redeem after the season. The two clubs reportedly still need to agree on the price of the central midfielder. Napoli will pay £18 Million, but Inter will accept only £22 Million.

29-year-old Vecino has been at Inter since the summer of 2017, when he joined from Fiorentina. In 96 games for the Milanese, Vecino has scored eleven times. The end of last season was ruined for the midfielder by injuries. After the coronavirus break, Vecino played only 22 minutes of Serie A football.
