An early fixture saw Mourinho's men visit Watford at the Vicarage Road without their number 9 talisman Harry Kane who recently had surgery on his right foot.

Some quite opportunities were missed by both teams as Tottenham extended their winless league run to a fourth game, while Watford remains unbeaten since Nigel Pearson's appointment having taken 14 points from six matches.

Arsenal hosted Sheffield United at the Emirate Stadium, the visitor were the better side in the first half but couldn't justify their performance as they allowed Arsenal striker Gabriel Martinelli tucked home from close range just before the hour mark.
The second half went underway but Wilder's men had the last laugh in the last minutes of the game, however, they were back on level terms three minutes later as Sharp flicked a Callum Robinson cross into the path of Fleck, whose shot skipped off the turf and flashed into the corner of Leno's net to secure a deserved point. The match ended 1-1

It was a dramatic encounter between the defending Champion and Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium, Crystal Palace went ahead courtesy Cenk Tosun header before substitute Gabriel Jesus curled a beauty pass for Sergio Aguero to convert at the far post to equalize the game Aguero scored his second in the 87th minutes to put the host in front, but his effort wasn't enough as Zaha forced a Fernandinho own goal in the 90mins to end the game 2-2.

Chelsea visited St James Park, been the second the best team to have won more away matches this season in EPL behind the current league leader Liverpool, Chelsea dominated the game for the whole of 90mins having played 10 corners straight in the 94th minutes only to receive a soccer punch from Newcastle's top 9 Hayden's header to stun the former EPL Champion.

Leicester City couldn't hold on to their lead as they lost 2-1 to the host Burnley

Liverpool hosted Manchester United in a rivalry encounter after seeing the first leg ended 0-0 at Old Trafford.

United was without their inform striker Marcus Rashford due to injury after been substituted during a second leg Carling against Wolverhampton wanderers.

Liverpool went in front via Virgil van Dijk in the first half before Mohamed Salah netting his first goal against United to make it 2-0.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin restores parity for Everton shortly after Issa Diop headed the host in front just before the break.
