October 7, 19: Jogging, Zombierun, and Teaching Trigonometry
Spent the morning grading the trig exams that I procrastinated on all weekend (I mean, I managed my time well 😁). I got them graded no problem, and they did quite well. Class average of 84%...perhaps I grade too leniently. Oh, well.
Had plenty enough time to get out for some solid exercise though! Busted a ten k at a reasonable pace with not too much of a problem. 💪
Crushed another zombie mission! The first zombie was seriously fast...got a fifty meter warning, but I evaded it, and the other three I left hardcore nibbling my dust.
Was so wonderfully amazingly awesomely beautiful out! Wringing every last drop of summer out!
Nice and sunny and warm with a cool breeze...can’t beat it!
I saw this huge praying mantis by the edge of the road...he was totally checking me out; but I suppose fair is fair. 😁
We have a lot of old, like historic old, barns around here...I was struck by the contrast between these dilapidated, aging structures and the vibrant colors that surrounded them. They looked so dull against the brilliant sky. I thought I might fiddle with some filters to make it even more dramatic.
In the evening I went and taught Trigonometry...we went over the exams and then derived the formula for the projection of one vector onto another.
