October 16, 19: An Uneventful Day in the Life of...Not!

First day in a while that I didn’t go out; so no maps or zombies or photos of stuff really. 😢. Was raining 🌧 sideways and cold, so I played “normal human” and stayed indoors. Still, got across the daily ten thousand goal and the streak remains alive! 💪

Had a lot of fun over at The Neoxian City chatting with all the awesome people there and met some new ones as well. 😄 We were defining things. 😆🤣 (you probably had to be there) and I won an upvote from The Dragon himself! Bonus!!!! 🏆

Other than that, got my daily quest done over on Steemmonsters...not too bad, I only rage quit once today! 😠🤪

Still getting burned out in the BCH market. Waiting for a buy at $200 and have been getting the big green dildos hard and slow (going up and sideways on low volumes). With the bear break today in bitcoin, I’m not losing as bad, but it still needs to come back some more and pick me up!

Have to say that it was incredibly awesomely amazingly fantastic to get a fatty upvote from OCDB!!! Feels super good to get noticed! 🤩. Maybe I might just come around on this whole newsteem business. I mean, I do have to admit that getting organic upvotes does feel a whole lot better than paying for them.

Then I got ready for teaching. I got there about a half hour early so I did some laps around the first floor of the building. Today we derived the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines. With those, students have the ability to solve any triangle, not just right triangles, and thereby find the sides and angles of any two-dimensional polygon. Now that’s power!

To be honest, I have really bad skin (yes, acne even at forty 🤓😢) and so it is the condition of my being that there is at least one painful bump somewhere on my body at any given time...but I had one that kinda’ felt weird. I ignored it, though, as just another damn zit that will come and go.

Today, however, as I was showering I just couldn’t get past that it felt like something on the outside of my skin instead of the inside. I thought: “What the hell is that?!” Put my leg up on the side of the bathtub, cranked my head around and then I saw it 😱😨😰.

Fricking frocking thing had its face buried in my leg and it had been there for at least two days!!! 🤭🤢🤮
We have a special tool for removing them that we got for the dog, so I used that to get it out and I think I got it all. We live in an area that is known for Lyme disease (which is wicked bad), but it wasn’t the right type of tick, I don’t think (is there a right kind?🤔🤬) and I’ll keep an eye out for any kind of rash.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit less uneventful. 😁
