Well, @wenchebakken was sawing a log tonight and so I was up at four o’clock sharp. 😢 Definitely lost the sleep I had made up, but not dragging too bad yet.

Got my morning shizzle done and posted and did some more token shifting over on SE. I really like having the “extra” liquid funds from the fork! 😁

In the afternoon I worked some more on Solairibot. I finally gave up on trying to return a value from a promise chain and instead chose to put my code directly inside the callback. Although this destroys the “modularity” of my code, it doesn’t really matter since the function is only being called in one place in the code.

Now Solairibot listens to the Hive chain for a comment, when it detects the correct text it checks the database against the author’s token balance and time of last call, then updates the last call time in the database with the current time.

The only thing left is to construct and broadcast the actual vote operation and I think it will function how I want. If the comment author isn’t in the DB or they don’t have enough tokens or they called less than a day ago absolutely nothing will happen, so hopefully it won’t be possible to drain RC or fill my screen with a bunch of “null” errors.

I played a little Xbox as well and then headed out for a walk. It started to rain like half a kilometer in and I kept going, so hardcore points earned there. Unfortunately, the app got paused somehow, but it was a full five kilometers, and so I’m counting it that way.

Was a little Bit cooler today, but not bad. Overcast and drizzling.

Got up pretty close to this crane. 😃

The rest of the day was mainly spent swearing at Splinterlands.

Yet another day of not completing my Holybread arena task. Getting to be that actually winning three times in a day is rare. 😡

At least I’m holding, if ever so slightly, above the dreaded one hundred line.

Losing when the opponent ends with like 150 life is such a smack in the face...seems to happen to me a lot.

Today was the last day of the Splinterlands season. Let me say, as much as playing sucks, playing on the last day sucks infinity more. I would have much rather just say the day out, but I hadn’t yet gotten Diamond I.

Literally hours of playing...get up to the border and then lose, fight up, then lose...there’s so many of these, I’m not even going to bother trying to sort them into the correct order.

Finally, though, I did get into Diamond I! 👍 Now, completing the daily quest in Diamond I was a different story...

My quest for today, to make matters worse, was Death splinter. I did, with a great deal of suffering, finally complete it in Diamond I and then left it alone for the season reset. We’re the rewards worth it? Eh, not really, but at least I’ll reset to Gold I.

Got my stats for the last week...not surprised that they’re way down, at least relatively speaking.
