June 11, 20: Trading, Xbox, Putzing, Gardening, and Games

Up at six today with basically a full night’s sleep (only fifteen minutes short) and a really high sleep score! 😴🙂

Since I didn’t sell out all of my powerdown, I still had some to play with over on HE, so I did some trading over there, shifted and staked up some tokens. 🤑

My Bittrex deposit finally came through!!! The wallet has been reactivated, but now, despite the deposit and withdrawal fees, I’ve kinda’ gotten to like HE. At least I can deposit and go directly to HIVE without having to take an intermediate step into Bitcoin (which can go either way). I might just say never mind Bittrex anyway.

I wonder what, if anything, they’ve done with the frozen funds...got to look into that.

To be completely honest, I’m not sure what my deal was today, but I just didn’t feel like going out. I know those are the days when you’re really supposed to go, and I didn’t have any good excuse, but I didn’t; so no maps or photos. 😢

I played a little Xbox for a while and then went out and pulled some more of the weeds in the front garden. I was surprised to find some nice new tendrils of the creeping evergreen have spread, you couldn’t see them for the long grass (hate that stuff, even a little piece of root will sprout and spread, basically impossible to get rid of).

That work is pretty rough on my back, so I only did enough to make a visible difference and then retreated to the garage.

Been a few days since I stripped any wire, and the acid had seriously deteriorated the cover I put on it and may have messed up some nearby objects. 😡

I got one piece completely stripped halfway, and the other half with just the inner insulator on, out what I got done into the acid and covered it with a glass lense and then a bucket to hopefully contain the fumes somewhat better.

In the evening we had leftover pork chops (that was a lot of leftovers, like two more meal’s worth) and watched a bit of Lengends.

Since I hadn’t gone out I still had like 3500 steps to go to get ten thousand, so I did some laps around the house. Don’t know why, but the Fitbit didn’t recognize it as an exercise. 😭 Still, the ten k per day streak continues. 💪

Hooray! I actually didn’t get robbed today! 🤗 Taxes are pretty low right now as well, so I got almost the full income.

Got all my Holybread tasks done today! 😁 Still struggling to make any progress forward, though.

I got Fire splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. Continued on with the losing streaks and lost all the way back out of Diamond I again. 🤬

I was able to fight my way back up and completed my quest in Diamond I with a potion. I guess I got my good rewards yesterday, ‘cause today they weren’t so hot:
