July 5, 20: AutomaticWin, DoubleDay, Groceries, Movie, and Games

Slept in till seven today and so close to a full night tv at I’m going to count it again. 😄

Nothing to note during the morning routine other than I’m ready to pull my hair out (what’s left anyway) waiting for something to happen in the crypto markets. Five thousand BTC again today, trading sideways...😴

We went and picked up Lady for our weekly walk in the “woods.” We ended up going quite a ways around the middle school and then back on the nature trail. Dude did really well and stayed close most of the time.

We had plenty of time to get an #AutomaticWin, and strictly speaking, I think I got a #TripleTen, but I didn’t stop the app and get photo proof before ten o’clock, so I’m not counting it.

A little bit cooler this morning, but I was feeling the heat for sure by the time we finished. I guess because of all the lingering firework smoke, we got an air quality warning.

As we walked around the school we encountered a pair of cranes. This one (clearly the male) walked right up after us, chasing us away from his ladybird.

Lady bug, lady bug, fly away home...

Never seen a beetle like this before...like a deep solid red, very stylish!

Lots of buzzy bees on these plants. Unfortunately the focus wasn’t all that great.

The milkweed is blooming now. Despite being an invasive species, they certainly smell wonderful!

The pond was pretty quiet today,

But as we passed there was a little baby bird on the path. Lady went after it, but didn’t hurt it I don’t think. It was super scared though, and actually stuck it’s head in a hole with its legs and butt sticking straight up! 😂

It was tough, but I actually got some shots of dragonflies today!

Lots of these blue and black ones out there.

After we got back, I did my daily post and then we went into town to do the grocery shopping. We were a bit later than we have been the past few weeks, but I guess that’s what you get for sleeping in.

Got all the groceries put away and then I put together the Solairitas Weekly News Update, the Project had a good week last week is bumped up over 2000 HP! 💪

In the evening we made some homemade pizza for dinner and watched Don’t Mess With the Zohan. While it’s a little old, Adam Sandler was hilarious. Two eyes open for sure; while it wasn’t intellectually challenging per se, it was definitely worth some laughs.

Still didn’t get my taxes done, and I need to record another calculus video, so got to get those things off my shoulders...plus there’s running for the village council (probably going to be too late to do that, but we’ll see).

No robbery in my dCity today. The taxes are insane again, but it is what it is, I suppose. I got my first income from the Brewery, wasn’t all that much .044, but more than I had yesterday. 😃
