Jan. 9, 20: AutomaticWin, Zombierun, PYPT, and Games
Up and at ‘em early again. I’ve kinda’ tried switching over to posting in the morning, adding it to the usual morning routine. I have gotten into the habit of posting last thing at night, but to be honest, that was more forced by ActiFit than anything else.
Although the activities of the day aren’t quite as fresh in my mind, it’s seems less of something I have to get done (being tired and not wanting to) versus a way to get the day going. I think I’ll keep at it for a while in the mornings and see how that goes.
Went out for a solid jog and scored the #AutomaticWin! Was only .1 kilometers away from a #TripleTen and got ten kilometers at 10:03. Close, but no cigar.
Was once again unseasonably warm out. But, I had intended to do my straight line walk out the farm road, and the wind was sooo wicked that I couldn’t stand walking into it and so turned the opposite direction! Literally, the wind dictated my route!!!
No rain or snow, just a few puffy clouds ☁️ blocking the Sun ☀️.
The lake has ice again. Freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw...the fish must be wondering what the hell is going on!
Even though the top layer is frozen, it was still pouring down this drain like crazy. It’s nuts that this is the start of the Raisin River...just a little trickle here, but it becomes a proper river as it flows through the state.
On the zombie mission, we went and checked on a crop of these blue flowers we’ve discovered make the zombies completely docile. One of the other runners fell off a platform and into the flowers. Turns out they have a deinhibiting effect sort of like alcohol. She started spouting all this mean stuff that was true but shouldn’t be said. We have to wait and see if it’s permanent or not.
The zombies were insane!!! I’ve only had one the past couple runs, but this time they came out of the woodwork! I only got one fifty meter warning out of all of them, though. TEN for ten zombies evaded. 😁
In the afternoon I went on PYPT on The Ramble. Fun as always, and I promoted Solairitas. Didn’t win anything this time...maybe next week. 😌
Steemmonsters was a bit middle of the road today. Still a bit frustrating, but I did get enough DEC for a quest potion.
And I finally got up into Gold I!!! 😃. Less than a week now left in the season, hoping that I can get into Diamond again so I don’t reset to Silver. Keep your fingers crossed!
I got a massive wood tick off the dog! 🤢😡. I would have thought they’d long since been frozen, but I guess not. Glad I have a proper tool, it got the whole thing out without too much trouble. The doggy sat pretty still; I think he knew I was trying to help.
