Jan. 7, 20: Zombierun and Gaming

Cat had me up again at the wee hours of the morning. Can I trade mine in, it seems to be broken...off button doesn’t work. 😝

Today we had a pretty solid spike in the crypto markets. I still haven’t made a move, but thinking it might be about time.

I didn’t really accomplish too much other than when I went for a walk.

I killed like three birds with one stone on that one! It was really a long walk to the grocery store, so got some shopping done, got my daily walk in of course, and I dumped a load of railroad spikes down at the tracks.

You see, about ten years ago when I first moved back to Michigan I was unemployed and looking to make a buck or two anywhere I could. So, I went down and picked up literal tons of railroad metal that had been thrown down to rot. However, when I took it in to be recycled, the man there said that I had committed a crime and was trying to sell stolen property and he was supposed to call the police. Luckily, he let me go, but there’s still piles of metal that have been filling up my garage for over a decade. Just trying to put it back where I found it.

Was a gorgeous day out until I went out, at which point it began to snow rather heavily.

Did a swing down by the lake. I was able to capture a couple of flakes in the photo.

Only one single, lonely zombie today. I got a twenty meter warning ⚠️ on it though ‘cause I had a backpack full of groceries. Still, one for one zombie evaded.

I actually made some progress on Steemmonsters today!!! Finally broke through the Gold II ceiling with a solid buffer (2350 or so), and got enough DEC for a quest potion.

Last day of opening Untamed packs, at least for a little while. Got a pack with a couple rare and an epic:

One summoner, but I have a loooong way before they are close to usable.

That allowed me to level my Cornelius up. Super powerful at the back end with massive healing and thorns. I actually won one with him, just by fatigue 😊.

I’ve started on my planning for teaching next semester. We start next Monday, though, so I need to get on that pretty quick.

Got my stats for the last week. I was kind of expecting it to be pretty bad considering how lazy I’ve been the past week, but I got lots of green arrows! 😀
