Jan. 10, 20: Zombierun, Words with Witty, and Games

Well, another day above ten thousand steps, so we’re keeping the streak alive; but not a whole lot else to report, to be honest.

Been hanging out (hiding out) basically the entire break now. Today the wife comes back from Norway, so at least I’ll have some company again and someone to talk to. 😃

Been doing a lot more thinking about the upstairs. Thinking is one thing, doing is quite another. It seems that getting a roll off dumpster and clearing out the loose piles of crap is the first in a long line of steps. Maybe this coming weekend.

It was raining most of the day, so I wasn’t too motivated to go out, but I did anyway. Actually ended up going farther than I had intended. Was only going to bust a short five kilometers, but didn’t feel too bad, so kept it going.

It wasn’t very cold, and NO wind, whaaat?!?! But it was raining a bit.

The Permanent Advisory Council decided to put Able runners to a test to see whether we were self-sufficient or if we needed another commander. Their brilliant idea was to infest zombies with rats...yes, rat-filled zombies. How smart is that?

That wasn’t too big of a problem, but they also decided to make a bottle of the blue flowers standard issue for all their runners. We were with runner 13 who was putting that stuff all over herself. She went nutso and decided that I was a zombie. Let’s just say it didn’t turn out well for her and the rats had a yummy dinner.

I did get a pair of zombies right on top of one another. As soon as the narrator said “Zombies evaded. Warning, zombies detected...” I knew I was toast. Five out of six zombies evaded.

In the afternoon I spent some time over at Words with Witty on The Ramble. We had some fairly heated discussions about global warming and the fires in Australia. As these types of topics go, there was intense debate, but all were civil and nobody got upset. 😁.

I had one of the weird quests; no splinter but win three times with no neutral. Seems like winning only three times should be a snap, but it’s honestly tough without my creeping ooze or chicken badass!

I was able to save enough DEC to get a quest potion 🧪 and finished the quest solidly in Gold I (2700). Only three days left, but only a hundred away from Diamond...can I get it before the reset?!

Rewards were pretty much commons today, nothing too amazing, although I’m looking foreword to that dragon mage getting a bit more leveled up so I can use it.
