We Played One Of Our Traditional Games~Hide and Seek(Tagu-taguan~Larong PINOY)~

Most children this days are stucked in their own rooms while playing their own gadgets.But the kids here aren't.They always play outside,playing some of our traditional games.

Today I'm gonna show you some of Philippines Traditional Sports that we played this day.

What:Tagu-taguan
When:It can be play anytime you want.
Where:Outside the house
Why:To play and have fun

Me and my sister @celyxzstin joined our cousin and our brother to play 'TAGO-TAGUAN'.

Tago—means HIDE or TO HIDE.

This game called 'HIDE AND SEEK' the rule of this game is to Hide then the Seeker will be the one who search for you all.There is only one seeker and the rest are the hiders.

We are only four earlier who played this game.So here's what we did in playing the game.

First,We need to know who'se the seeker by doing 'Pompiang'—this is what they're saying,each one of our hand,put together like this.

Then we will say 'Maiba taya' or 'Pompyang'—The one who will have different result maybe black or white will be the seeker.So I'm the one cause the result was different to all of them,the results of their were white but the result of mine was black.

I'm the seeker so I need to find where are they.In the count of 20 they should already hide. So when I'm done counting,I searched for them.The first one who will be found will be the next seeker but if he found yet he saved(by tapping the tree/wall where Im standing while counting earlier and they should say'SAVE!' before the seeker(me)will find and 'BOOOM!'them.If I said 'Booom!'-it means they we're caught!And the first who caught will be the next seeker as I already mentioned.

My cousin was the first who caught so he will be the next seeker. And I'm gonna hide now.

He is counting 1-20.After that he will find us and he must 'booom'us.

He succeed on his goal,so now the next seeker is my brother.

He also did thesame.He count~search~and BOOM us.So now it's the time for @celyxzstin to be a seeker.

After counting,she started to search.Im the first who found,and sadly I couldn't save myself.So that means I'll be the next seeker😢😄 :

While she's finding the two kids I took a picture of her.I was laughing that time because I saw my little cousin climbing and hiding at the tree near the seeker whose finding him.🤣
It tooks a myriads of minutes when @celyxzstin finally found him.

So that's just the steps on playing hide and seek.
This game is not always easy as you have read what we did because it might be hard and you can be a Loser if you don't know the rules in playing.You must be WISE in playing,you must choose the right place where the seeker can't easily find you.
What's hard for this game is when you're playing with too many players maybe above ten players then if you're the seeker it might be hard cause they can easily saved theirself while you are looking and seeking the others, it's not always booming the first one some decided that if someone was boom or caught the other can also save him by saving and tapping the tree.It's like bayanihan were they can help the one who caught and if you're not wise then you'll be a loser of the game.They can call you "BUROT!" or "LOSER" in English😅♥️.But don't be sad cause that's only a game.You must be patient and follow the rules in participating the game.Sportmanship is required too.😊

After playing,they were tired:

After they took a rest,the two boy went on playing "SIPA" means "KICK or TO KICK" the ball/coin covered with cloth or fluffy cloth.They will just kick it up and the one who have the biggest count of kick without letting the coin down will be the winner.

After that they also played marvles or holen in tagalog. Im not familiar with the mechanics of this game but I will share their pictures:

We miss our Childhood memories that's why we participated in this game hahaha.But we enjoyed playing the game and it's fun!You can try it in your home with your friends.
