Ford Puma is next generation of WRC car from M-Sport for 2022??

M-Sport and Ford changed three different marks of the WRC car from 1997, when WRC cars were introduced, and they were Escort WRC from 1997 to 1998, Focus WRC from 1999 to 2010 and Fiesta WRC from 2011 until today.

Ford Fiesta WRC is really good car and even M-Sport isn't a full factory team, they are doing good. They even won two driver's championships with Seb Ogier in 2017 and 2018, and also one manufacturer's championship in 2018.

That is all down to six times WRC champion Ogier who brought his super talent to this team and he helped them a BIG.

Now there is an idea from Ford Motorsport director Gerard Quinn to try with Puma model in 2022 when new generation of WRC cars will be introduced.

Changes could be good but not always because we saw with Citroen how they failed with C3 WRC and they were full wprks team and M-Sport is semi-private team.

We will see how it will go with their plans because there is nothing confirmed from M-Sport for 2022.

I guess they want more money from Ford...
