The Indo-Sri Lanka cricket tournament will not be held in June

The Indian Cricket Board has officially informed the SLC that they cannot participate in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka this month.

The SLC has announced that it has taken this decision in view of the prevailing covid-19 epidemic.

The Indian team is due to visit Sri Lanka in June to participate in the Twenty 20 and the One Day Internationals.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (SLC) has informed the SLC that the Indian government and the health authorities of India should be consulted before resuming cricket.
